I am a self-taught software engineer. I've been programming for 20+ years now.
I was born and raised in South East Idaho. I was home schooled on a farm and turned to the computer for intellectual stimulus. I moved to California in 1998 to help my brother attend a private school, while there I attended a community college to study x86 assembler.
A year later I moved back to Idaho. Just 2 short weeks after that I moved to Phoenix, AZ, where I began my career as a Software Engineer.
I moved back to South East Idaho in 2003 after the IT Job market collapsed. There I attended ISU.
During this time I not only pursued my Computer Science Degree, I learned Japanese and developed a love of the culture, I met and married my wife, and I began Teaching for the Computer Software Development Technology program at ISU.
In 2009 I moved to Boise where I currently reside.
